About our Chef's Room

The Chef’s Room is a truly exciting room for up to 24 people, where seasonal menus are prepared in an open kitchen. While the dishes are being prepared, guests can enjoy a glass of wine from the area of Lake Balaton and a pleasant chat with our chefs about the ingredients, the preparation of the dishes, their harmony with the wines – in short: the beauty of gastronomy.

The Chef’s Room menu varies depending on the ingredients available locally and seasonally.

19:00 – 23:00

Open by prior appointment on other days of the week, subject to availability.

Dining in the Chef’s Room requires a reservation. Please make your reservation at least 24 hours before your planned arrival by e-mail or by phone on (+36) 84 360 133.

Meals with a child

We offer a fine dining degustation experience in our chef’s room, so it is not advisable to stay with children under 14 or babies, as dinner can take up to two or three hours and there is no option to request a separate children’s menu when choosing the menu. Children are welcome in the Food & Room restaurant area of the Little Cricket!
